5. A terrycloth towel or cloth baby diaper are best for cleaning windshields

6. Get free maps from state run welcome centers or Chambers of Commerce

7. Cell phone and number list, as well as pen and paper for notes.

8. Camera. "Disposables are great for touring".

9. Emergency tools, tire repair kit, ect.

10. Bungee cords and Zip ties (They may come in handy)

11. A small amount of dishwashing liquid in a small shampoo bottle, like those found in motels.Great for cleaning roadside grease.

12. Two "Do-rags" or helmet liners. Use one while the other dries out.

14. An extra credit card (not maxed out) just for riding and emergency funds.

15. A short roll of toilet tissue. Other than the obvious, like wiping the dipstick when checking oil level, wiping up small gas or oil spills, and cleaning eyeglasses.
